Topy America Inc is Hiring a Forklift Operator Near Frankfort, KY
2nd shift- 4:00pm-12:30am M-F Weekends as needed.
SummaryOperates forklift to transport materials including moving pallets and loading and unloading trucks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Transport raw materials to production workstations
- Complete all required checks in order to properly maintain forklift
- Scan product to maintain accurate inventory counts
- Follow all necessary safety procedures
- Preform work quickly and efficiently to keep pace with production needs
- Fill-in on production line when needed
- Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required.
- Minimum of 3 years of forklift experience
- Weekly pay
- Shift differential ( $1.35/hour for 2nd)
