Key Responsibilities
- Cut, thread, bend, ream, and install pipe, valves, and fittings
- Read P&ID diagrams, blueprints, or specifications to determine the type and size of pipe needed
- Inspect, examine, and test installed pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for compliance with specifications.
- Operate power industrial trucks to transport materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment
- Weld, braze, solder, or fusion weld components to assemble pipe systems and pipe supports.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of one year experience in pipefitting and/or steel manufacturing
- Experience with GTAW and GMAW welding processes
- Certification in AWS and/or ASME
- Excellent Skills Matrix, Problem Solving and Working with Teams
