This position will be responsible for keeping track of the day-to-day running of the assigned production plastics area, The goal is to ensure that operations are carried out productively and safely.

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

• Enforces and follows all applicable procedures, work instructions, policies of the company and production department.
• Employee training, assisting with on-going production process improvements.
• Monitoring employees, assisting with on-going assigned work and evaluating production process for improvement with identifying issues if any.
• Communicating with the staff and employees to understand the problems and other important aspects.
• Ensuring that the employees are following safe work practices and PPE requirements.
• Process MO's and review daily WO's. Distributes work to the Production group.
• Continually Reviews daily orders with highlighting important information.
• Maintain Stock of materials needed for all Production items.
• Work with Inventory Control and Warehouse Coordinator for distribution and processing of raw and finished goods.
• Monitors and assists with all equipment, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Responds to inquiries regarding orders, stock and customer service special requests.
• Continually demonstrate courtesy, friendliness and professionalism at all times.
• Maintains a high level of awareness on the production floor to create a safe and secure working environment for everyone.

Immediately reports any unsafe conditions or practices to management.

• Responsible for security of building including entrance / exit control (receiving door, daily trash removal, etc.).
• Responsible for employee safety including accident prevention, accident reporting and emergency procedures.
• Observes workers to ensure compliance with relevant regularity rules and standards, including quality control.
• Keep constant communication with Production Management regarding employee overall performance and department as a whole.
• Coordinate any additional duties that management may require.
• Work with other internal department leadership and team members.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS :

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong Knowledge of all Production Plastic & paper items.
• Strong leadership and initiatives, team player.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy and quality.
• Ability to multitask.
• Good communication skills.
• Computer skills, Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel, PPT.
• Manufacturing Order Processing.
• Knowledge of machine calibration, preventive maintenance and scheduling.
• Willingness and ability to learn new IT software such as ERP Foundation
• Operational Knowledge of UDI laser marking, CNC drill machine, Heat Sealer, manual drill Press, Deburr Hand / Air tool, Paper cutter and process machines, Adjustable Stringer mechanical presses.
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• Availability for overtime and weekend work when needed.
• Able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Able to lift 20 lbs. unassisted.
