Rightworks Inc. is Hiring a Director Of Emergency Services - 1885710 Near Fredericksburg, VA
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required
- Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred
- 3 years of experience in emergency services required
- 3 years of experience in a leadership role preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC)required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- 133 bed hospital
- 20 bed ER (and growing) 11 bed FSED
- No trauma designation
- Main ED sees about 100 patients/day, and FSED sees 40-80 patients/day
- Facility does have inpatient behavioral health
- 2 Managers report directly to Director (1 at main ED & 1 at FSED)
- Currently 28 FTEs but target is 40. Working to hire in RNs currently (reliant on contract labor at the moment)
- Position reports to hospital COO
- Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- 3-5 years of ED Leadership experience (nurse manager or nurse director).
