Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our team at our Marina that is scheduled to open by end of June. As a Marine Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of marine vessels. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and attention to detail.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine engines, electrical systems, and other components
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions
- Install, repair, and replace parts and equipment as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Marine Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of marine systems, engines, and electrical components
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
