Material Coordinator
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Material Coordinator to join our team. The Material Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the supply chain management, production planning, and inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in coordinating materials, handling contracts, and utilizing systems such as IOS ENVI to ensure efficient operations.
Duties:
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Develop and implement production plans to meet demand requirements
- Manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability
- Negotiate contracts with vendors for cost-effective procurement
- Utilize IOS/ENVI systems for material tracking and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support demand planning activities
- Monitor supply chain activities and address any disruptions promptly
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred (not required)
- Proven experience in material coordination, production planning, and inventory management - 1 year
- Strong understanding of demand planning principles
- Proficiency in using IOS/ENIV systems
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with supply chain best practices
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Certification in supply chain management or related field
