Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Produce Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling produce, assisting customers, and maintaining inventory control in a retail environment.

Duties:

- Loading and unloading produce shipments
- Packaging and labeling produce items
- Operating cash registers for sales transactions
- Providing excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with product inquiries
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Monitoring and controlling inventory levels of produce items

Requirements:

- Prior experience in a warehouse or retail setting is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers; bilingual skills are a plus
- Proficiency in operating cash registers and handling transactions
- Capability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to stocking and organizing produce items
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures and practices
- Willingness to learn about different types of produce and their storage requirements
