- Responsible for analyzing costs, variances, gross margins, general ledger accounts, and monitoring various costs related to the manufacturing process
- Plan, schedule and participate in physical l inventory counts
- Prepare and analyze gross margin reports for company material groups along with investigating any unexpected changes in gross margins
- Manage the standard cost system
- Classify production cost into wages, material and overhead
- Prepare month end summary report of financial and manufacturing metrics for management to review
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline
- 5 years' of cost accounting experience preferred
- Experience with inventory/cost accounting for a manufacturing company
- Ability to communicate effectively to various organizational levels
- Strong excel experience to create and manipulate reports
