Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host. As a Host you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome

- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus

- Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements

- Answer phone calls

- Assist servers with table set-up and clean-up

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station

- Provide information about the restaurant, menu items, and daily specials

- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional manner

- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

- Previous experience using POS systems

- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members

- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism

- Knowledge of guest relations and providing exceptional guest services

- Familiarity with restaurant or hospitality industry practices

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
