- JOB SUMMARY
- Works under the supervision of the Nutrition Services Manager, Nutrition Services Supervisor and to efficiently and profitably provide a high quality experience at CCMH/Legacy Coffee Shoppes.

- PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
- Prepares and serves food and beverage items following standardized recipes to serve customers high quality products.
- Uses interpersonal skills and customer service skills to greet, engage, serve, meet customer needs, and thank every customer.
- Contributes to the profitability of the coffee shop by suggesting, explaining/demonstrating, providing samples of products and using good merchandising practices.
- Follows all recipes and guidelines established to adhere to Starbucks business agreement and quality standards.
- Assists in testing and evaluating recipes as part of the development of specialty products.
- Maintains all food prep and service in assigned areas according to sanitation and safety techniques as mandated by the Wyoming State DOH, regulatory agencies, CCMH Policy, and Dept Management.
- Maintains and utilizes all food service equipment according to sanitation and safety techniques as mandated by the Wyoming State DOH, regulatory agencies, CCMH Policy, and Dept Management.
- Presents a professional personal appearance according to established dept dress code.
- Assists as requested by leadership with ordering of supplies and inventory management.
- Completes cleaning tasks as delegated by leadership.
- Accurately and professionally completes exchanges of funds for goods and services received by customers to the Coffee Shoppe. Completes cash and sales reconciliation and recording process as per dept policy as instructed.
- Actively maintains work area as a professional and safe environment ensuring readiness at the Coffee Shoppe for all regulatory inspections/surveys.
- Actively participates in implementation of the strategic plan.
- Participates in cross-training experiences and continuing education as requested.
- Follows hospital and department policies and procedures.
- Complies with the hospital Corporate Compliance Program including, but not limited to, the Code of Conduct, laws and regulations, and hospital policies and procedures and promotion of patient/resident rights including confidentiality.
- Must be free from governmental sanctions involving health care and/or financial practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Education: High School diploma or GED
- Licensure: None
- Experience: One year of quantity food service or retail food service experience. Gourmet coffee shop experience preferred.
- Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Eye/hand coordination, dexterity, ability to use proper tools and equipment. Ability to perform basic computer functions to complete mandatory education and run cash register.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Essential Physical Requirements: Walking, standing, lifting 40 pounds, carrying, full range of motion, exposure to extreme cold in freezers and exposure to a noisy environment.
- Essential Mental Abilities: Read, write, understand, and speak English; follow written and oral instructions without frequent supervision; able to deal with a variety of personalities; ability to do mathematical calculations; ability to do independent problem solving and do multi-task work.
- Essential Sensory Requirements: Touch, sight, smell, taste, hearing to perform duties.
- Exposure to Hazards: OSHA CATEGORY III. Identified job duties do not have any anticipation for contact with blood, contaminated body fluids or tissues.
- Hours of Work: 5:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.;7 days per week; shift varies
