ResponsibilitiesIs expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan TJC and other licensing accrediting and regulatory agencies. Through the use of accepted techniques and practices provides high quality Nuclear Medicine studies. Through safe operation and care of equipment ensures proper exposures of patients to radiation/radioactive radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic nuclear medicine exams. Ensures safety of patients by following established guidelines for IV and oral radiopharmaceuticals administration. Communicates effectively with ancillary areas and internal staff. Able to evaluate coordinate and execute responsibilities under pressure situations. Has the initiative to resolve customer problems by self and involves supervisors as necessary. Provides professional and quality care to patients from neonates to geriatrics while following hospital policies procedures and standards. Performs other duties as assigned.
