Job Title: Caregiver
Duties:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of the individual.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with the individual.
- Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors or healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of systems for providing care to individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or other special needs.
- Familiarity with home care practices and procedures.
- Ability to clean and maintain a safe living environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals of all ages.
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding nature.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or tasks.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for the position).
- Must pass a background check.
