Job Title: Restaurant General Manager

Rooster's, a modern American pub, is hiring for a General Manager for its full service restaurant & event space opening this Fall! Experience required. Looking for positive and hard working individuals to join our Stove & Co family!

We are seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager who can lead our team to success. Ideally, the successful candidate will be transparent and honest with our staff, and will work to motivate and engage each member of the team within the organization. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious manager to become a key part of our company's continued growth, and we're looking for a General Manager who can help us achieve our stated goals.

Responsibilities include, 

but are not limited to:

• Lead daily restaurant operations, including staff management and customer service, to ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Implement strategies to maximize revenue, manage inventory, and uphold health and safety standards.
• Train and motivate a high-performing team to deliver exceptional service and exceed guest expectations.
• Foster positive relationships with suppliers, vendors, and stakeholders to support business growth.
• Handle customer inquiries and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
• Oversee and grow daily operations
• Curate a competitive and inspiring beverage menu, namely a wine program
• Build and lead a motivated, guest-inspired team
• Establish and maintain service standards in line with group expectations
• Interact with guests and gather feedback
• Ability to problem solve and pivot to daily needs
• Complying with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests
• Controlling cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation
• Scheduling labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed as needed and labor cost objectives are met.
• Controlling costs and usage by following proper requisition of products from storage areas, product storage procedures, standard recipes, and waste control procedures.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a fast-paced casual dining restaurant environment.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu development and pricing strategies.
• Comfortable with technology, including POS systems and restaurant management software.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

Note: This position is available in Glenside, PA. Local candidates are preferred. This is a new restaurant opening. Experience opening new locations preferred.
