Description:
Duties and ResponsibilitiesYou will be part of highly skilled team and need to interface with other team members, including those of other engineering disciplines. Additional job duties could include systems level requirements analysis, design, and proposal input. You may also be involved in system testing for products you are a part of and aid with fielding and/or training of the customer.Design, implement, analyze, and document hardware and electrical systems.Work closely with engineers of varying disciplines to meet simulation training system requirements.Assist in installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of designs to ensure that equipment and systems are installed and functioning according to specifications.Research and analyze data, such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.Develop and establish design approach and implementation.Develop procedures and test trainer computers, inputs/outputs, electro-mechanical systems, and power interfaces.Collaborate with peers to implement designs, resolve system operation errors, and implement procedures.Recommend and/or modify design to obtain specified functional and operational performance.Keep current on future technologies and products to determine where and how such products can be incorporated into designs.Report status including schedule progress and problems/issues.Contribute to and/or ensure the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
