Job DetailsPosition Summary
As a Personal Injury Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients who have sustained injuries as a result of accidents or negligence. You will work closely with clients to understand their cases, gather evidence, negotiate with insurance companies, and if necessary, litigate in court. Your role is crucial in helping our clients secure fair compensation for their injuries and losses.
Key Responsibilities
Client Consultation Meet with clients to evaluate their cases, provide legal advice, and explain the legal process.
Investigation Conduct thorough investigations, including gathering medical records, accident reports, witness statements, and other relevant evidence to build a strong case.
Legal Research Stay up-to-date with laws, regulations, and precedents related to personal injury cases to provide informed legal counsel.
Negotiation Negotiate with insurance companies and opposing counsel to reach favorable settlements for clients.
Litigation If settlements cannot be reached, represent clients in court, prepare legal documents, and present cases effectively in front of judges and juries.
Documentation Maintain accurate and organized case files, including records of all client interactions, evidence, and correspondence.
Client Support Offer emotional support and guidance to clients throughout the legal process, ensuring they understand their rights and options.
Legal Strategy Develop and execute legal strategies tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
Compliance Adhere to all ethical and professional standards of the legal profession and maintain client confidentiality.
QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active and in good standing with the state bar association.
Proven experience in personal injury law, with a strong track record of successful cases.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Strong analytical and research abilities.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Compassionate and empathetic, able to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of relevant legal software and technology.
Trial experience is a plus.
