Leidos is Hiring a Network Engineer Near Greenbelt, MD
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of complex network engineering tasks independently which are broad in nature and are concerned with the design and implementation of integrated networks, including personnel, hardware, software, and support facilities and/or equipment.
- Lead major technical/engineering network activities of higher complexity and importance than those normally assigned to junior engineers.
- Plan and perform network-engineering research, design development, and other assignments in conformance with network design, engineering and customer specifications.
- Responsible for completion of assigned engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines. Able to lead a group of network engineers, analyst, and/or technicians assigned for the duration of a project or may function as ongoing lead within a group associated with one of more technical areas.
- CCNA/ CCNP working level knowledge
- Working level knowledge of ISE, DNAC, Splunk, Stealthwatch and/or NetBrain
- Experience with Data Center & LAN Technologies including WLAN
- Knowledge of implementing IPv6 and supporting an SDA fabric overlay architecture for a large Government agency network would be a plus
- Currently has an active security clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Typically requires BS and 5 – 10 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience
While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.
Pay RangePay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
