Sugar & Flour Bakery Cafe is a small locally owned bakery. We're situated in a close knit community and strive for a friendly work environment. We are a "from scratch" kitchen and bakery.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, croissants and cookies
- Follow recipes and ensure that all products meet quality and consistency standards
- Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the bakery
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a baker in a restaurant or bakery setting is required
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work early mornings and Saturdays
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs
