PRIDE Health is Hiring a HR Benefits Specialist Near Greensboro, NC

Title: HR Benefits Specialist

Duration: 3 Months (Possible Temp To Hire Or Extension)

Pay Rate: $30.00/hr. - $38.00/hr.

Location: Greensboro, NC, 27401

Shift: M to F 8 AM to 5 PM

Job Duties-

  • Responsible for managing and administering employee benefits programs within an organization, focusing on several critical duties.
  • Oversee the enrollment process for new hires and during open enrollment periods, manage health insurance, retirement plans, disability insurance, life insurance, and other benefits programs, and assist employees with claims issues while liaising with insurance providers.
  • Educating employees about their benefits options and any changes to the benefits plans, providing ongoing support, and preparing and distributing benefits materials are essential aspects of their role.
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g., ACA, ERISA, HIPAA), coordinating and supporting internal and external audits, and preparing and submitting required reports to regulatory agencies and management are also crucial.
  • Manage relationships with benefits vendors and brokers, negotiate terms and rates, monitor vendor performance, assist in developing and managing the benefits budget, and analyze the cost-effectiveness of current benefits programs.

Job Requirements-

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years of Human Resources experience
  • Strong knowledge of all federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements and other laws affecting benefit programs including ACA, ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, ADA, Section 125, DOL requirements.
  • Proficiency in HRIS applications, Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word and Power Point) is strongly preferred.
  • CBP or CEBS preferred
