Little Schoolhouse Childcare Center(LSC) is seeking a director.
LSC is a non-profit organization providing childcare in the Greenville, Maine area. We provide childcare for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Located in beautiful Moosehead Lake are, Greenville offers the perfect small-town canvas for work and play.
LSC is seeking a dedicated & experienced individual to fill the position of childcare director. The essential function of this role is to lead our early childhood team by providing an enriching, safe & nurturing environment for our children and staff. This individual will be skilled in early childhood education planning, staff leadership, direct childcare and management of the daily operations of the center.
QualificationsAt least 21 years of age
Must meet the education requirements as stated in the Childcare Licensing Rules for centers licensed for 50 children (available on the DHHS website or by emailing LSC direclty)
First Aid and CPR certified
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Classroom management skills
Leadership skills
Additional RequirementsMust successfully pass a criminal background check
Fingerprinting as regulated by DHHS for childcare licensing
