Join Our Team as a Licensed Practical Nurse!

Role: Licensed Practical Nurse

Department: Various (Med Surg, Rehab, Psych, LTC)

Shift: Day/Night | 12x3, 8x5

Guaranteed Hours: 36 / week

Location: Greenville, MS 38701, United States

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: LPNs are responsible for providing direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, dressing wounds, and assisting with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing and dressing.
  • Documentation: LPNs are often responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documenting vital signs, medications administered, and any changes in the patient's condition.
  • Assessment: LPNs perform basic patient assessments, such as measuring vital signs, assessing the patient's overall condition, and reporting any changes or concerns to the RN or physician.
  • Medication Administration: LPNs administer medications as prescribed by a physician, following established protocols and ensuring patient safety.
  • Assisting with Procedures: LPNs may assist physicians or RNs with various medical procedures, such as wound care, catheter insertion, or IV therapy.

Requirements:

  • Active LPN License in Nevada.
  • BLS Certification.
