Family Centers is Hiring a Part-Time Preschool Teacher Near Greenwich, CT

 
Family Centers’ Early Care and Education program seeks highly qualified, passionate, professional educators to join our early childhood education team. We are seeking Part-Time Teachers to work in our infant & toddler center and preschools. Flexible morning and afternoon shifts available with after-school opportunities for eligible high school or college students!

Overview:

Our programs provide full-day/full-year care and offer the highest quality education and development opportunities for young children ages six weeks to five years at four sites in Greenwich, CT. Each school is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) which is widely recognized as a distinction of the highest quality in early care and education programs.

Our curriculum, goals, and objectives guide our staff’s ongoing assessment of children’s progress, while facilitating each child’s individual growth and language acquisition and cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and creative domains.

Our Accreditation:

Family Centers' Early Care and Education program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Accreditation by NAEYC is widely recognized as a distinction of the highest quality early care and education programs. Only eight percent of the nation's preschools earn NAEYC's stamp of approval. Family Centers' Early Care and Education program is one of two full day-full year program in Greenwich that maintains NAEYC accreditation.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Earned or working towards an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or similar)
  • Candidates with a Child Development Associate certification (CDA) will be considered
  • Have experience working with young children
  • Have enthusiasm for learning and a passion for early education
  • Ability to lift and move 25 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally
