As a QA Engineer, you will create test designs and utilize best practices and methodologies to determine current and future solutions. You’ll use analytical processes to understand issues and evaluate solutions, and will facilitate testing solutions for applications/products.
What You Will Do
  • Formulate, define, and document systems/application scope and objectives while working closely with systems architecture, development, and engineering teams
  • Perform key portions of the system development lifecycle including gathering, documenting and analyzing requirements for moderately complex, multiplatform applications
  • Maintain documentation, project tracking, and key stakeholder reporting metrics
  • Make recommendations for project resource requirements to project managers and/or systems leadership
  • Perform moderately complex system/application testing to ensure delivery meets business, budgetary, and end-user expectations
  • Provide day to day support to existing applications and troubleshoots system/applications performance issues as they arise
  • Act as a liaison between key business area and systems teams, and communicates project feasibility, status and issues to key stakeholders
  • Create test designs, utilize best practices and methodologies to determine current and future solutions
  • Use analytical processes to understand issues and evaluate solutions
  • Demonstrate a testing background that will facilitate testing solutions for applications and products
What You Will Bring
  • Two to four years in a QA technical role completing application and software testing
  • Will be required to obtain CSTP certification if not already certified
  • Must have a strong QA background in manual, functional testing
  • Must have the ability to quickly comprehend project goals and requirements and to identify gaps, omissions, challenges, and impediments
  • Knowledge of mainframe, client/server and internet/intranet development and testing
  • Experience creating testing defect reports and tracking them to resolution in a defect management tool
  • Experience in automation frameworks and related tools, such as Selenium, Cucumber, Java, Eclipse and Maven
  • Solid experience writing test cases and requirement gathering
  • Proven skills within Functional Testing, End-to-End, Regression, and Smoke Testing
What Will Set You Apart
  • Experience on the AWS platform and services and other cloud products is a plus
  • Knowledge of modern Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodology
  • Excellent written and verbal skills and ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Detail oriented self-starter with strong organizational skills to multitask and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Enthusiasm to work and learn in a team environment with experience of working in teams spread across multiple locations
  • Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines while remaining professional and courteous
  • Able to keep knowledge up to date in the appropriate technical and business-related areas

Base Salary Range$63,100.00 - $89,125.00
The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
