Job Summary : The Caregiver role is a crucial position for those who rely on others for basic daily care, such as bathing, eating, and personal hygiene.

Caregivers typically work with elderly or disabled individuals in a facility or home care setting.

Caregiver Compensation and Benefits :

  • Competitive Pay
  • Flexible Working Hours

  • Compensation : $17 - $19 / hr
  • Bi-Weekly pay period
  • TapCheck - Option for same day pay

Caregiver Responsibilities :

  • Remind clients to take prescribed medication and supplements
  • Assist clients with ambulation and mobility (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
  • Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, bathing, and toileting
  • Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
  • Shopping trips
  • Light housekeeping duties, meal prep
  • Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
  • Report any unusual incidents
  • Ability to act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver Requirements :

  • CNA Certifications
  • Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
  • Adherence to health and safety standards
  • Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
  • Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
  • Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Physical endurance to complete required tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent
