Home Instead is Hiring a Recruiter Near Greenwood, IN

Home Instead is currently in need and hiring for a health care recruiter. The starting pay is competitive and will be around $45,000-$50,000 a year.

Our office is located in Greenwood, IN as we service the senior community within Johnson & Morgan Counties.

The Recruitment Manager is expected to perform a variety of duties for the recruitment and retention of Care Professionals.

The Recruitment Manager is expected to recruit, screen, and hire a staff of Care Pros to provide the highest quality service to clients.

This person should also be familiar with the Home Care field. As an office, we wear many hats. This may mean you will also be called upon to visit our clients in their home !

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Reflect the core values.
  • Able to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Develop a recruiting plan to ensure a flow of knowledgeable, trainable, exceptional Care Pros.
  • Answer each employment inquiry in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
  • Manage recruitment ads and post positions as necessary.
  • Schedule and conduct applicant interviews in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Collect and verify applicant required documentation.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new candidates after hire in conjunction with our Education Coordinator.
  • Assist with multiple in-house and external resources simultaneously, such as job fairs and hiring events, to attract a high-volume of qualified candidates.
  • Develop and manage the annual franchise Human Resources operational plan and budget.
  • Achieve the annual operational plan’s revenues, gross profit, profitability, and other operational goals by the stated milestones.
  • Complete a regularly scheduled audit of HR processes to ensure compliance with all governing bodies, including Home Instead® Standards and any state specific requirements.
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with the franchise owner, colleagues, Care Pros, clients and family members.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are implemented and communicated to all employees.

Secondary Responsibilities :

  • Rotate per agreed upon schedule to serve as the on-call coordinator after hours and weekends (Added increased pay when it is your turn).
  • Work closely with the client care team to ensure we have accurate coverage needed to carry out our mission and values.
  • Maintain and establish strong relationships with neighboring franchise owners and Home Instead, Inc. Business Performance team

Education / Experience Requirements :

  • Relevant work experience preferred
  • One to Four years of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
  • Must supply a minimum of two professional and two recent work references
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, as well as active car insurance
