The Activity Coordinator provides meaningful, stimulating, entertaining activities to all Independent Living residents in an effort to promote social interaction and provide psychological well-being for multigenerational residents. The Activity Coordinator plans and directs all day-to-day responsibilities of the IL Activity volunteers in the Residential Services department. Candidate should have two years’ experience in a social, recreational, or event planning program with a senior population or a two-year degree with an emphasis in event planning. Must have extensive experience in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with digital photography and/or social media management a plus. A valid SC drivers’ license is required.
