Your Insurance Attorney, PLLC is looking for a skilled First Party Property Attorney. This role is perfect for those seeking to make a significant impact in the insurance industry, using their legal acumen to resolve complex claims disputes. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop and hone your litigation skills in a dynamic professional environment.


Job Type:
Full-time, In-house

Salary: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year base plus settlement bonuses

Duties/Responsibilities:

1) Legal Research:

a) Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments. Review, evaluate, and prepare cases for trial.

2) Drafting Pleadings:

a) Prepare legal documents, including complaints, responses to motions to dismiss (MTD), and motions for summary judgment (MSJ).

3) Settlement Negotiations:

a) Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution methods.

4) Depositions:

a) Prepare for and attend depositions, gathering crucial information for cases.

5) Discovery Management:

a) Prepare and respond to discovery requests and address any associated issues.

6) Court Hearings:

a) Attend court hearings to represent clients and present legal arguments. Maintain consistent communication and provide updates to clients, ensuring they are informed and engaged.


Education/Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate Degree
  • Admission to the Florida Bar
  • Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
