Able Healthcare Services is Hiring a Caregiver Near Gwynn Oak, MD

The Caregiver performs personal care activities, including but not limited to:
  1. Bathing
  2. Shampooing
  3. Skin care/nail care
  4. Oral hygiene
  5. Shaving
  6. Dressing
Performs household services essential to health care at home, including but not limited to:
  1. Meal preparation/feeding
  2. Laundry
  3. Light housekeeping
  4. Reports any observed or reported changes in the client’s condition and/or needs to Registered Nurse.
  5. Document care services provided and complete the forms required for the client’s records
  6. Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients by observing infection control practices, following agency guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to the Supervisor/Care Manager.
  7. Demonstrates safe practices in the use of equipment. Does not use equipment until orientation has been provided. Notifies supervisor of educational needs.
  8. Communicates effectively with all members of the interdisciplinary team through verbal reports, participation in staff meeting, and team conferences, as requested.
  9. Maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
  10. Participate in required in-service programs to meet compliance requirements.
  11. Performs other related duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
