General Description:
Bus or van driver has the primary responsibility for ensuring the health, safety and welfare of the children and staff during bus transportation to and from school and on field trips. It is also the role of the bus or van driver to: keep the bus or van clean and in proper working condition at all times; determine and follow safe and efficient bus or van routes; ensure all children are in age appropriate child safety restraints.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Possess a valid Ohio driver’s license
Must pass a physical examination, and drug and alcohol testing
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communications skills
Able to work shifts assigned
Class A or B CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements (school bus driver)
