Primary Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in maintaining SQF certification for the company
- Work closely with documentation and regulatory issues to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Quality Department and ensure that quality control procedures are followed
- Ensure Food Safety, Quality and Process Control issues are successfully resolved including effective use of Root Cause Analyses and Corrective and Preventative Action tools
- Develop day-to-day SOPs for Quality/Food Safety Department with Director
- Analyze data and create reports for senior management to drive decision-making processes
- Maintain instrumentation records and ensure preventive maintenance is performed
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Food Science, Chemistry, Biology).
- Several years of experience in quality within the food and beverage industry
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP and GMPs for food and beverage manufacturing
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- SQF Practitioner preferred
