Job description
The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) role is to support, document, monitor, and provide a structured environment for the patients while they are in the care of The Ohio Mental Health Center (Trails). He/she is responsible for providing support services for the clinical and medical staff. BHT’s are to provide a safe environment at which patients can obtain and maintain mental stability. He/she will work under the direct supervision of the Behavioral Health Tech Supervisor. This is an hourly position with a schedule established to complete required duties. This position is “non-exempt” from wage and hour regulations, as defined by the U.S, Department of Labor.
