Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Position SummaryResearch contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation. Develops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities. Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Compiles, performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Works under general supervision.
Responsible for product excellence and implementation of quality assurance programs to provide defect free products to all customers.
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Leads the team to become resourceful in seeking answers/guidance to complex problems.
  • Able to perform duties related to customer and supplier facing activities.
  • Produce monthly Supplier Performance data, including but not limited to Supplier Scorecards, On Holds and Rejection data for use by the Supplier Performance Team and distribution internally and to the Supply Chain.
  • Responsible for meeting/exceeding customer quality metrics to ensure customer preferred supplier status.
  • Conducts customer quality reviews with customers and internal BDSI organization.
  • Conducts Corrective Actions Board (CAB) with customers.
  • Drives root cause corrective actions (RCCA) with customers, suppliers and internal BDSI organization.
  • Ensures RCCA meet customer requirements and response time.
  • Lead all on customer scorecards metrics to achieve a 100% rating.
  • Works with quality specialist to Lead all purge activities and ensure containment is within 48 hours globally.
  • Works with customer on RMA product and submits documents for MRB approval.
  • Writes quality plans, sampling plans, and inspections plans for customer products.
  • Reviews RCCAs for trend analysis to work process improvements.
  • Helps train team members as needed on various quality topics.
  • Assists in the writing and reviewing of technical and performance specifications, quality plans, sampling plans, and inspections procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills And Experience)
  • Education: bachelor’s degree – Engineering, Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field of study
  • 4-6 years of related work experience
  • Equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience
  • Knowledge of AS9100/9120 Standards
  • Internal and/or External Auditing training/qualifications
  • Advanced MS Office skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Six Sigma certification
  • Certifications in ASQ-CQE-CQA
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations
TravelingThis position requires traveling up to 50%
