Job Purpose
The Production Finisher position performs all task involved in the production of the company’s products and operates CNC turning and milling equipment under strict supervision. This includes the cleaning, polishing, marking, and packaging of products. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
A Reads and performs work as assigned by Shop Foreman
B Saws, cuts, cleans, polishes, marks, and packages products.
C Maintains facility is a clean and safe work area.
D Notify Shop Foreman of any mechanical, safety or material issues.
All other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or zero-to-one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The performance of this position requires exposure to the manufacturing area where exposure to wet conditions, some fumes or airborne particles and working near moving mechanical parts is probable. May occasionally work in high or precarious places. Proper safety precautions are required. Noise levels are moderate/loud in the manufacturing area.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Individuals will need to walk or stand throughout the workday. Individuals will use hands and fingers to handle product during manufacturing. Reaching with hands and arms, and climbing and balancing is also required, as well as the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The ability to talk or hear is required. Close vision (clear at 20 inches or less) is required to read small print on equipment. Repetitive medium to heavy lifting (25 to 75 pounds) is required; occasional heaving lifting, up to 100 pounds, may be required. Proper lifting techniques are required.

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
