SummaryJob Description:The Associate Human Resource Generalist is responsible for supporting tactical day to day HR operations and supporting the team with HR administration. This position will also provide support to plant HR Business Partners, as needed. This position provides support to all SGI employees in regards to HR related needs and activity. This position deals with sensitive and confidential information and makes important business decisions that would fall within the HR function.
Essential Duties
  • Performs tasks and makes decisions surrounding human resource programs including but not limited to hiring, compensation, benefits, leave, and recognition.
  • Handle HR-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
  • Assists with employee data management within the HRIS system
  • Support HR Business Partners with routine assignments

Working Conditions: Office, travel and outdoors within the Plant environment
Physical Requirements: Computer, ability to make oral presentations, lifting objects up to 50 lbs., standing or sitting for extended periods, extended or irregular hours, bending, climbing, kneeling, stooping, walking on uneven terrain.
