We are working with a client in Fort Worth who is looking for an Accounts Receivable Analyst. This person is required to have previous experience with change orders. It is fully onsite paying $26-$32/hr.
Responsibilities:
Reconcile customer original purchase order (PO) with change orders.
Securing documents that support sales and processing change orders
Must be proactive in resolving issues, researching and adjudicating customer claims of payments, researching and resolving chargebacks, returns and short pays.
Maintaining records by use of electronic document storage system.
Maintaining accurate customer overview of A/R balances and activities and handling specific key account.
Resolving remaining balances through research, follow-up and/or adjustments.
Reconciliation of customer account through internal functions and establish time for follow-up calls.
Initiate and manage AIA contracts for large labor jobs.
Research discrepancies between customer PO, system balance and customer proposal.
Working with multiple functions and departments to ensure accurate and timely documentation to customer.
Strong in holding others accountable and following up to ensure POs are updated and received from the customer in a timely manner
Required Skills, Experience, Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree with focus in Accounting or Finance
3 – 5 years of related experience
Intermediate level of skill with MS Office programs including Word and Excel
Strong understanding and usage of Smartsheet
Knowledge of accounting fundamentals and principles
Familiarity with ERP systems and document management systems
Comfortable working overtime as required pending prior approval by immediate supervisor
Ability to provide professional service and assistance to internal customers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable interacting with associates at all levels
