Job Summary

The Senior HR Generalist (on-site) role provides guidance and advice to internal partners on employee engagement, talent development, succession planning, and various human resource matters for the Hampton Operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Offer HR support at the location, including recruiting, employee relations, incident investigations, talent development, HRIS updates, discipline, coaching, and mentoring.
• Advise and support operations in adhering to and enforcing corporate and local HR policies.
• Assist with onboarding new employees by entering data into various systems.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and practices, as well as federal and state employment laws and regulations.
• Manage recruitment and retention activities, including full-cycle recruiting and providing data and analysis to support key HR initiatives.
• Help create and implement strategic HR programs and communications.
• Participate in counseling and termination proceedings.
• Ensure all activities align with equal employment policies and practices.
• Assist with AAP reports.
• Promote positive organizational development by leveraging best practices and change management techniques.
• Assist with training and development, including onboarding hourly employees.
• Provide various metrics for the location.
• Assist with managing NES workforce performance evaluations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong multitasking ability and effective communication at all organizational levels.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Proficient in oral, interpersonal, and written communication.
• Familiarity with HR information systems and proficiency in computer software programs.
• Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Labor/Employee Relations, Statistics, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of five years of HR Generalist experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Labor relations experience is preferred.
