Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Service Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating customer service requests, providing estimates, and ensuring the smooth flow of service operations.

Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers to determine their service needs and provide accurate estimates
- Schedule service appointments and communicate effectively with the service team
- Maintain customer records and update service history in the system
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
- Order and track parts purchases and maintain safety stock of high-use items

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, air brakes, diesel engine repair, tire services, and auto service management would be a plus
- Familiarity with automotive repair terminology and procedures
- Excellent customer service attitude
- Ability to align customer needs with appropriate services

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
