Position Summary:
The Chatham Group: Advanced Materials and Technologies Recruiting Firm is seeking highly qualified candidates for a Senior Product Manager position with a client in the Advanced Building Materials Industry. You will be a crucial member of the Marketing Team, responsible for identifying, developing, launching, and curating the product catalog within the advanced roofing materials and insulation sectors. You will manage a small team of Product Managers and Product Specialists to ensure the successful execution of consumer focused product development projects. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in Product Management software applications, will have a degree in Business, Marketing, or other highly relevant field, and have experience with understanding customer needs in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Product Managers and Product Specialists on various product innovation projects
- Use customer needs profiles to guide product innovation projects
- Work within the marketing team on new product development and market introduction projects
- Assist in the fabrication of product prototypes
- Modify existing product designs and product catalog offerings to meet customer needs
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing
Qualifications:
- BS in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or other highly relevant field
- MBA is preferable
- PMP Certification is a big plus
- 5 years of experience with marketing in a manufacturing setting
- Direct experience with Advanced Building Materials industry is a plus
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and relocation assistance will be provided to qualified candidates.
