Horizon Performance Technologies LLC is Hiring a Project Manager Near Hartland, WI

Horizon Performance Technologies LLC is an OEM engaged in the design and manufacturing of industrial capital equipment in the heat processing industry including ovens, washers, and material handling. Horizon Performance Technologies LLC is currently seeking a Full-time Project Manager. This is a low-volume/high variability project environment. Individual projects values may vary from $50K to $5MM.

Qualified candidates for this position must possess the skills to oversee projects from contract acceptance through engineering, fabrication, assembly, installation and start-up. The Project Manager works with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Service Departments to set milestones and guide the project to completion. The following list of responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other responsibilities, as corporate management may deem necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Review customer specifications, equipment proposals and contract purchase orders.
  • Create and maintain individual and master Project Schedules based on customer requirements and existing workloads in various departments.
  • Monitor and report on project progress for all current projects.
  • Communicate with customers on project status.
  • Communicate with vendors and expedite where required.
  • Support Manufacturing and Service Departments while equipment is being built and installed.
  • Coordinate shipping between the customer and Manufacturing.
  • Prepare and review run-off and final acceptance criteria with customer.
  • Coordinate installation and start-up with the customer and Service Department.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to address and resolve manufacturing, design, and quality problems, and to ensure the continuous improvement of processes and methods.
  • Stay current and informed of new developments in industry and new parts or methods to improve products or product designs.
  • Occasional travel to customer sites.
  • Occasional weekend work.
  • Employ safe work practices and PPE.
  • Comply with all housekeeping procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Complete special projects, as assigned.

Skills:

  • Skilled using spreadsheet and word processing software.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Capability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business preferred
  • Three to five years of related experience
