Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Imaging Manager to oversee the imaging department at our medical facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical imaging, including ER, mammography, X-Ray, nuclear medicine, and physiology knowledge. Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, and working in a Level I Trauma Center is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all activities within the imaging department
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and protocols
- Oversee scheduling of imaging procedures and staff assignments
- Train and mentor imaging staff on best practices and aseptic techniques
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Maintain inventory of imaging supplies and equipment
- Implement quality assurance measures to uphold high standards of patient care
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Must hold a current registry from one of the following organizations: ARRT, ARMRIT, CAMRT, ARDMS, NMTCB
- Five (5) years of clinical imaging experience. Three (3) years of imaging leadership experience.
- Proficiency in various imaging modalities such as X-Ray, mammography, and nuclear medicine
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
