Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 1st shift!

We are seeking a versatile Maintenance Technician—a maintenance generalist who is a jack-of-all-trades. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. It is a blend of industrial maintenance and facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical and mechanical background with industrial maintenance experience and be capable of handling various tasks, from painting walls to rewiring motors and fixing plumbing issues. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of facilities and equipment.

The ideal candidate should not be strictly dedicated to one craft, such as just an electrician or just a plumber. They need to have electro-mechanical skills, industrial maintenance experience, and be comfortable with some facilities maintenance tasks such as garage door repair/adjustment, oven repair, electrical outlet replacement or installation, and building maintenance like repairing hinges and painting walls. One day they may be painting walls, another day they may be rewiring motors, and another day fixing plumbing issues. Please note that there is no assembly line, so no giant machinery is involved.

This position is within a small team, so the candidate should be comfortable working closely with the maintenance supervisor and another janitorial technician. We are looking for a skilled electro-mechanical technician with industrial maintenance experience to contribute to the team.

Breakdown of Responsibilities:

• Perform industrial troubleshooting, such as troubleshooting CNCs, industrial ovens, furnaces, HVAC equipment, etc. (50%)
• Perform various industrial tasks, such as garage door repair/adjustment, oven repair, electrical outlet replacement or installation, and building maintenance like repairing hinges and painting walls (30%)
• Handle electrical tasks (20%)
• Conduct plumbing repairs (10%)
• Manage HVAC maintenance (5%)

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and perform a wide range of maintenance tasks
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Generalist skills with the capability to handle a mix of facilities maintenance and equipment troubleshooting

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience with industrial maintenance and troubleshooting of CNCs, industrial ovens, furnaces, or HVAC equipment
• Experience with HVAC maintenance, garage door repair, hinge repair, painting, and rewiring motors
• Advanced schooling, technical certifications, or specialized skills in maintenance areas
