Job Description:
The role of Employee Relations Generalist performs professional level Employee Relations work and carries out responsibilities in one or more of the functional areas, such as staffing, employee relations, benefits, training, employment, and safety. This role carries out administrative work involving the Employee Relations functions and maintains related records; develops and improves policies, programs, and procedures to improve the effectiveness of Employee Relations.
Essential Job Function:
The Employee Relations Generalist is responsible for managing the administrative tasks of the Employee Relations Department, preparing paperwork and conducting new-hire orientation, managing employee recognition programs, managing UPSHIFT Temporary Staffing, planning employee banquets and supporting the TENTE Cares program. You will also be responsible for assisting with employee health programs to promote employee health and wellness.
