Job Description

Job Description
The Assessment Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the operational needs of the Office of Academic Affairs and Assessment within the College of Pharmacy. Reporting directly to the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Assessment, the Coordinator will collaborate with faculty and staff to facilitate effective assessment processes and continuous improvement initiatives. The Coordinator's responsibilities include organizing assessment logistics, managing data collection and analysis, and assisting in the development and implementation of assessment policies and procedures. As a key member of the College of Pharmacy’s staff, the Assessment Coordinator contributes to fostering an environment of academic rigor and institutional accountability.

Founded in Henderson, Nevada, in 1999 with a College of Pharmacy, RUHS has experienced phenomenal growth and has expanded to include a College of Nursing (2006), a College of Dental Medicine (2007), and a College of Medicine (in development). What We Are Looking For

  • Ability to develop and use data management systems and experience using data analytics.
  • Ability to network effectively to form alliances with local, state, regional and national colleges and other organizations.
  • Ability to respond to concerns of internal and external constituencies in an effective manner.
  • Knowledge of Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education policies, procedures, standards, and processes.
  • Ability to exhibit professional behavior, even in challenging situations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with experience in programmatic assessment or university-level accreditation.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience with SQL or Azure databases and database management tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or TOAD.
  • Proficiency in data mining, reporting tools, and building PowerBI dashboards; knowledge of SQL, JSON, Python, Microsoft Forms, and Power Automate preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience working with diverse populations and excellent team-building skills.
