Job Title: Production Assembler (Biotech Industry)

Schedule: 4X10 (Monday to Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm)

Duration: 3 months

Compensation: $22/hr

Hercules, CA

Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming raw materials and verify quantities by counting.
• Assemble small components and package them into boxes for kits.
• Prepare for kit assembly by building and labeling boxes, as well as assembling smaller components.
• Participate in kit assembly on the production line, which involves picking components and placing them into master boxes.
• Lift weights of up to 50lbs occasionally.
• Engage in activities such as walking, standing for long periods, bending, and twisting throughout the shift.
• Operate a motorized pallet jack.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) meticulously and complete paperwork accurately.
• Learn and adapt to various tasks within the packaging department, including SAP transactions.
• Maintain a professional work environment and contribute to a cohesive team dynamic.
• Adhere to both written and verbal instructions.
• Occasionally work overtime to meet high demand periods.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and comprehending written instructions.
• Basic math skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with computers.
• Experience in packaging, warehousing, or similar fast-paced environments is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate manual, semi-auto, and automatic production machinery is advantageous.
• Prioritize tasks effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Strong team player with flexibility and a commitment to quality.

Preferred:

• Experience with SAP transactions.
• Previous experience operating production machinery.

This temporary position as a Production Assembler requires a proactive attitude, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
