J.L. Nick & Associates is Hiring a Service Manager Near Hermitage, PA

Service Manager

Our client, a family owned company since 1980 that has grown from a local supplier to a recognized industry leader throughout North America, needs your background and experience. The Service Manager's responsibilities include properly plan, staff, and execute all field service and installation needs of overhead cranes, provide the highest level of customer service, assist in the field as needed, develop lasting customer relationships, and manage the service team members. The Service Manager maintains a strong working knowledge of all industry standards and practices as well as the company's products and services. You will be responsible for delegating and directing service tasks, handling customer complaints or concerns and communicate complex technical issues with customers throughout the course of service projects as well as help troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues over the phone with service technicians at customer sites.

Qualifications:

  • Aptitude for both electrical and mechanical environments as well as familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment, preferably with overhead cranes
  • 8 years of experience in crane service industry in either management and/or engineering.
  • OSHA 10 a must and OSHA 30 preferable.
  • Current valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • This position does require some travel.
