Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.Performs routine maintenance on building systems.Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.Collaborate with workers and other professional during renovations.Performs other related duties as assigned.Report to Maintenance Coordinator for issues.Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.Abiding by different safety measures and policies.Use a personal (employee) tools and equipment for use between worksites.Work Order ManagementKnowledge of AppFolio a plusAbility To:Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.Ability to use hand tools and power tools.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Very good communication and interpersonal skills.Physical stamina and dexterity. Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.Excellent navigation skills and proficiency in using navigation applications to find apartment buildings.Use a personal vehicle to travel between worksites or other locations.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.Related experience preferred.Acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license in the state in which they are employed.Physical Demands:Prolonged periods standing and walking.Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.*Compensation will depend on level of experience.
