We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft technician to join our team and lead our technical operations and security initiatives.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in IT support, a strong understanding of virtualization, cloud services, email systems, and network security. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, provide excellent technical support, and collaborate successfully with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for successful collaboration with clients.
• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware, operating systems, and storage devices.
• Create and manage user accounts, security levels, applications, storage folders, and databases.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end users.
• Perform complex and varied work, adhering to service level agreements.
• Create, test, and maintain disaster recovery plans.
• Install and upgrade systems outside of normal business hours to minimize client impact.
• Document processes and procedures accurately.
• Manage Active Directory, including user account creation and group policy management.
• Communicate clearly and accurately with customers regarding case status, escalating to senior engineers or vendor support when necessary.
• Familiarity with End-Point Security Systems.
• Provide clear and accurate communications with customers regarding case status in a timely fashion
• Escalate to or engage with senior engineers or vendor support as needed to ensure steady progress to a final resolution.

Qualifications:

• 4 years of experience in IT support.
• Strong understanding and experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Linux, Hyper-V).
• Experience with email systems (e.g., Exchange, Exchange Online, Gmail).
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., O365, AWS, G Suite).
• Proficiency in LAN and WAN concepts.
• Familiarity with rack-mount server hardware.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong background with Windows Server Operating Systems.
• Intermediate knowledge of computer networks and security.
• Experience with Remote Desktop Services (RDS) or Terminal Services.
• Experience with Internet Information Service (IIS) and MSSQL Services.

Typical Working Schedule:

Tuesday - Saturday (Sunday/Monday Off)

8:00AM to 5:00PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
