Classroom Paraprofessional (Para) for ’24 / 25 School Year

Now hiring qualified Paraprofessionals (Paras) for the upcoming ’24 / ’25 SY :

• Full time position
• 35 40 hours per week
• Schedule follows district calendar
• Weekly direct deposit

Job Description :

• Support students in school under the supervision of a teacher.
• Provide one-on-one instructional assistance and help to execute / reinforce lesson plans to small groups of students.
• Document student behavior to aid with BIP assessments, provide positive enforcement to maximize student’s ability to learn, and reduce disruptive or inappropriate behavior.
• Offer teachers insight as to how to best interact with their students.

Requirements :

• Active CPR / BLS Certification or ability to obtain
• IL Level 1 Fingerprint Card or ability to obtain
• High School diploma or equivalent
