Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by preparing and serving a variety of coffee, tea, slush, smoothie, shake, and Frappe beverages with Boba addons. We also serve food such as panini sandwiches and hamburgers which are simple to make. Your friendly demeanor and attention to detail will contribute to creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks and food according to customer preferences

- Ensure the quality and consistency of each beverage and food by following established recipes and preparation techniques

- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed

- Assist with food preparation, such as sandwiches, hamburgers and other light snacks

- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions or concerns

- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional manner, escalating to management when necessary

Skills:

- Previous experience operating a cash register and handling cash transactions

- Knowledge of drink making such as coffee, slush, smoothie, shakes, and iced teas are preferred but not required.

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Basic math skills for accurately handling money and making change

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Familiarity with POS systems, such as Square POS, is preferred but not required

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices

Pay: $14.50 - $17.50 per hour
