Job Description

As a Expeditor you will act as an ambassador of our hotel for all guests by delivering a superior arrival and departure experience.

Interact with guests and colleagues on a daily basis, providing courteous and efficient service creating a feeling of welcome.

Assist with the coordination of a guests' stay with luggage, valet and other guests requestsEnsure every guest is greeted and acknowledged with the aloha spiritAssist with the hotel's bike and golf club programs.

Ensure that proper waivers are signed and equipment is returned in the same conditionControl bell storage area; receive and issue claim tickets for baggage to be stored.

Retrieve luggage when claim tickets are presentedAssist with group transportation and luggage movementsSupport expeditors and shuttle service when neededProvide unique experiences to all of our guests through warm, personal & detailed service in a luxury, upscale and fast paced environment.

Ensure a positive first impression of the resort for our guests through detailed cleanliness, set-up and ambiance control.

Try to remember individual's names and their preferences to extend a personalized serviceAssist other rooms division departments with their operations during peak times or when requiredApply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety / emergency proceduresMaintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all timesPerform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the HotelQualifications

Your experience and skills include :

Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesExcellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English languageAbility to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantageAbility to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a teamDetailed & service oriented with an eye for detail to be self-motivated and energetic.
