We are looking for an Assistant Mechanic to join our team!

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Follow all procedures and policies with regard to repairs and maintenance
• Complete assigned tasks and projects in a highly effective, efficient, and safe manner
• Work in conjunction with lead mechanic to keep equipment operating
• Ability to notify lead mechanic of any mechanical problems and assist with any repairs

Projects and tasks may include, but are not limited to:

• Landscape equipment repair and/or maintenance
• Building maintenance type tasks (sweeping floors, taking garbage out, painting, patching holes, etc.)
• Picking up parts and other materials as needed

Job Experience & Requirements:

• Basic knowledge and understanding of equipment operation, service, and maintenance practices

• Working knowledge of 2-cycle, 4-cycle, and gas engines and equipment
• Aptitude for mechanical problem diagnosis and repair methods
• Ability to adapt to change
• Able to communicate effectively and complete paperwork to standards
• Must be able to follow directions
• Valid Driver's License with CLEAN driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs
• Reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, kneeling, bending, stooping
• Work in shop in various weather conditions
• Verbal and written English language skills
